It is a charming ancient market with prestigious buildings since the 18th century and well-known for its lantern-lit evening. It is a must-visit place whether you explore it on foot or by boat. When talking about Hoi An, we must talk about Nguyen Su-a city leader who helped preserve Hoi An ancient town. If it hadn't been for his efforts, Hoi An wouldn't remain as pristine as it looks today. Because of Nguyen Su work, Hoi An now looks very picturesque and develops its cultural identity strongly. My aim in telling you this story is that whoever you are, you can contribute to preserving this UNESCO heritage site, Hoi An now is on the verge of being flooded because of climate change. If we protect Hoi An, we preserve a living museum and create thousands of jobs, lower the unemployment situation.
